Cookies

Last updated 8 October 2026. This page explains what this website stores on your device, under the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet, article 11.7a) and the EU rules on privacy.

No cookies for visitors

This site sets no cookies when you visit it. It uses no analytics, advertising or social media tools, and nothing on it follows you to other websites. That is why you are not asked for consent.

The one note we keep

The site keeps one item in your browser’s session storage, which is part of your browser and is never sent to us:

  • Name: nte-splash
  • Purpose: remembers that the short opening animation has been shown, so it plays only once per visit.
  • Content: the value 1. Nothing about you.
  • Lifetime: deleted automatically when you close the tab or the browser.
  • Type: strictly necessary for the page to work as you see it; under article 11.7a it needs no consent.

People who edit the site

People who sign in to manage the site receive WordPress’s own sign-in cookies. Visitors never receive them.

Controlling storage yourself

You can clear or block site storage in your browser’s settings at any time. The site works the same without it; the opening animation may simply play again.
